Canine influenza is now established in about 30 states, according to veterinary expert Dr. Cynda Crawford of the University of Florida. Dogs at greatest risk for exposure are those in shelters, boarding or training facilities, day-care centers, veterinary hospitals, pet stores and grooming parlors.
