Brendan C. McKiernan, DVM, DACVIM

Dr. McKiernan is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine. He completed an internship and residency in small animal medicine at the University of Illinois and remained on faculty there for more than 20 years. He is best known for his interest and research in respiratory diseases of small animals, and has published numerous scientific articles and book chapters in the field. Since 1998 he has been one of the staff internists at the Denver Veterinary Specialists in Wheat Ridge, Colo.
