Calming musical collar for dogs launches crowdfunding campaign

Music Mutz, LLC, the comforting musical collar has been approved to debut a campaign that recently launched on Kickstarter, a foremost crowdfunding website. The campaign is looking for funding to develop a collar containing a proprietary MP3 player and high-quality speakers that helps naturally alleviate dogs suffering from noise and other phobias, without any medication, sedation, or restrictive dog wear.

According to a company release,¹ Music Mutz collar has an MP3 player loaded with exclusive psychoacoustic music that soothes dogs. The founder and owner, Kris Baggelaar, got inspiration for this idea because of her lifelong love for animals and having friends and family with dogs experiencing fear, anxiety and/or stress.

The company conducted various group and individual tests with dogs that are jittery, distressed, and panicky in different circumstances. Pet owners found the Music Mutz collar effective at soothing dogs who react to thunder, separation anxiety, fireworks, riding in cars, screeching brakes, dogs barking, veterinary and groomer visits, illness, depression, loud voices, and additional stressors.
