Glass Hoof Model
The hoof trainer uses a material that emulates the texture, weight and feel of a live horse, the company says.
All anatomical landmarks are present including a change in coloration of sensitive laminas tissue. Students can rasp, fit shoe, nail and trim the model. The product is designed for multiple tasks.
The glass hoof allows students to visualize the internal orientation of laminas tissue prior to working with a horse's hoof.
A static, mounted hoof on a clear glass stand can be laser engraved, the company adds.
