TFC publications introduces "The Super Simple Guide to Housetraining," a comprehensive book that helps readers chart a successful course for housetraining their dog, the company says.

Studies show housetraining problems are the primary reason dogs are given up for adoption, the company adds.

The publication includes step-by-step instructions for crate training a dog, training tools and equipment necessary for success, nutritional guidelines and the top 12 housetraining problems and their solutions and methods for tackling common behavioral issues.

The author, Teoti Anderson, gives housetraining tips to owners with puppies and older dogs. Anderson has been a dog trainer for 10 years and serves as the president of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT).
