Idea Exchange: One fecal sample to go
A handy tip for clients who bring in samples.

We give clients a small plastic cup with a lid (found at any restaurant supply store) to take home to get a fecal sample, which they bring back to us. The client can write his or her pet's name directly on the lid or side of the plastic container. The lid keeps the fecal sample from smelling or leaking. When we are done with the tests, we just close the lid and throw the cup out.
