Pharmacia Animal Health announces it has received recent clearance fromthe U.S. Food and Drug Administration for a new claim for metritis. Excenel®RTU Sterile Suspension (ceftiofur hydrochloride) was cleared for treatingacute postpartum metritis in lactating dairy cows. It's an effective treatmentoption with no risk of milk residue, as the clearance carries a zero-daywithdrawal when used according to the label.
