The dewormer is an ivermectin/praziquantel combination that can be given to horses 4 weeks of age and older.Equimax provides an important new solution to the threat posed by equine tapeworms, says Dr. Robert Dressler, equine veterinarian at Pfizer Animal Health.An apple-flavored paste, Equimax comes in a specially designed ergonomic syringe and has a sturdy, lockable dose adjuster, large print dosing scales on both sides, a curved finger grip and a shorter barrel for secure handling.
