ST. LOUIS — Purina introduces Joint Mobility (JM) dog food that is proven to work at the cellular, molecular and clinical levels, the company says.
The product acts on the COX-2 system to reduce PGE and works on enzymes to promote cartilage health. The product is for sale only through veterinarians and features high levels of long-chain omega-3 fatty acids and incorporates nutritional technology to help increase mobility in arthritic dogs.
The product contains:
- High levels of antioxidants to help reduce oxidative stress,
- A natural source of glucosamine for cartilage and joint health,
- High protein-to-calorie ratio to help maintain body condition.
The product should be fed under veterinary supervision, the company says.
