At the Fetch dvm360® Charlotte Conference this past weekend, Donita McCants, DVM, delivered a lecture on tips for being a better business owner while simultaneously taking care of yourself. In this interview, McCants recounts that following the session she gave, an attendee divulged that the talk was encouraging to him as he has experienced suicidal thoughts or tendencies.

Donita McCants, DVM: He just received so much value from that conversation, where now that he can apply some amazing things to his life, for his practice, where now he sees the light that, "Hey, I don't have to ever feel that way again, because there's options for me to still do what I need to do and take care of myself."
