VetWatch Dog permits the veterinarian to visually monitor single or multiple patients, receive pulse oximetry from a patient even while awake, including real-time blood flow waveforms, SP02 and pulse rate.

Other capabilities include:

  • Monitor and control a Baxter IV pump allowing for changes of flow rates and volumes.
  • Create a CD-ROM record of all activity for permanent review.
  • Trigger telephone alarms in case of abnormal conditions

The system allows the user to obtain a complete record of the hospitalized animal in the event that the owner or the veterinary board requires any explanations.

All data transmissions are encrypted and secure, allowing only authorized users access, the company adds.

At your house or other remote location, the VetWatchDog Observer connects via the Internet to the VetWatchDog Monitor. Type in your username and password, and you can look at the same information that is available at the clinic. You can control the camera by moving it left, right, up and down. If you have special authorization, you can even adjust flow rates and volumes to be infused on the IV Pump.Recordings can be saved to CD and viewed on almost any Windows based computer that has a CD-ROM drive.
