One cat is gaining the hearts of many, not because of her cute looks, but rather for her intimidating demeanor and no-nonsense personality.
Yesterday, the Mitchell County Animal Rescue posted an ad on Facebook introducing Perdita, who they referred to as the “world’s worst cat.”
According to the Facebook post, Perdita likes “staring into your soul until you feel as if you may never be cheerful again, the song "Cat Scratch Fever," the movie Pet Cemetery (Church is her hero), jump scares (her specialty), lurking in dark corners, being queen of her domicile, fooling shelter staff into thinking she's sick (vet agrees...she's just a jerk).”
The shelter also shared Perdita's dislikes, which include the color pink, kittens, dogs, children, the Dixie Chicks, Disney movies and Christmas. Oh, and she’s not a hugger. So basically you can call her the feline grinch, but she still wants to be loved, too.
“She's single and ready to be socially awkward with a socially awkward human who understands personal space,” the post says.
If you or one of clients is looking to adopt, you can find out more about Perdita here.
