Nora S. Matthews, DVM, Dipl. ACVA

Dr. Matthews is a professor at Texas State University College of Veterinarty Medicine and serves as a clinical anesthesiologist in the veterinary hospital. She has also served as an assistant professor at Washington State University from 1985 to 1986 and at Oklahoma State University from 1986 to 1988. In 1989 Dr. Matthews joined Texas A&M faculty as an assistant professor in 1994. She has also worked in mixed animal practice for five years before returning to an acedemic appointment. Dr. matthews received her degree in veterinary medicine in 1978 from New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University in 1978. She also completed her residency in veterinary anesthesiology at Cornell in 1985. She became a dipolomate of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesiologists in 1988. Dr. Mathews has published more than 50 articles relating to veterinary anesthesiology.
