Dr. Heather Troyer shares how she uses acupuncture to treat pain associated with several conditions including cancer.
"Acupuncture, by far, is used most commonly to treat pain secondary to arthritis," said Heather Troyer DVM, DABVP (Canine & Feline Practice), CVA, CVPP, at this year's Atlantic Coast Veterinary Conference. But this veterinarian and certified acupuncturist, who practices at Oradell Animal Hospital in Paramus, New Jersey, also uses the modality to treat a number of other veterinary diseases and conditions.
