Schaumburg, Ill.
-- The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) will reintroduce its enhanced online continuing-education (CE) Web site next month.
The online CE tool, now in its second year, will feature a new format that AVMA officials say will make viewing the online courses “a pleasure.” AVMA Ed 2.0 offers a wide range of CE topics and 25 sessions to choose from. The site also will feature two to three articles from each issue of the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association (JAVMA). Veterinarians can earn one hour of CE for each JAVMA article they read on the site, after completing a test and printing a certificate to present to their state licensing boards.
Courses are $20 per CE hour for AVMA members, $30 for nonmembers and free to student members of AVMA. Click here for more information.
