Cardboard condos for your veterinary patients

Article

Go green and make these homemade hideaways for cats.

Every cat wants a hideaway when visiting the veterinary office. So we recycle smaller cardboard boxes by cutting a hole in one side and taping down the inside flaps so the cats don't fall in. Stressed-out boarders and hospitalized cats like to take shelter in these homemade hideaways, and the boxes are light enough that we can move them around for treatment purposes. Best of all, when we're finished with them, we toss the boxes into the recycling bin instead of cleaning and disinfecting them.
