Mariana Pardo, BSCv, MV, DACVECC: We should never underestimate the capabilities of brachycephalic breeds of becoming critical very quickly. So, we want to prevent that as much as we can by trying to minimize stress, trying to make these appointments as short as possible, and trying to jump very quickly to sedation techniques, providing oxygen as soon as we can.
