The study discovered multiple benefits, such as providing relief for understaffed and overworked clinics
A consumer study conducted by Covetrus found its new product Covetrus Pulse (Pulse), a first-of-its-kind program that consolidates applications that practices need daily into an all-in-one system, saves time and is easy to implement at veterinary clinics. The findings showed the product can save up to 3 hours per work week and save practice managers 45 minutes daily, making the overall results of the product more efficient and profitable for practices.1
"Covetrus Pulse combines everything I need in one place, saving around 30 minutes per day. The time savings really adds up, allowing us to see more patients but also to stay on schedule, which is critical to delivering a good customer experience,” said Stacy Enke, DVM, practice owner of Martinez Animal Hospital in Martinez, California, in an organizational release.
“With the high demand for our services and hectic days for our team, we are thrilled to have this new technology that is so easy to use and that is helping us to manage our workloads and deliver great care to our patients both during their visit and when they get home."
The study surveyed 2,500 practices throughout North America that have used the product since 2022, asking about their experience. According to the release, nearly two-thirds of those surveyed reported Covetrus Pulse was easy to implement at the clinic and helpful for training staff. Out of the front office respondents, 7 out of 10 said it was easy to use and train team members on.
“We are thrilled to see our customers reap time and efficiency gains with Pulse, which we engineered to be a game-changer for veterinary practices,” expressed Benjamin Wolin, president and CEO of Covetrus, “While similar technology exists in the human health space, it is our distinct honor to be the first to deliver such a comprehensive and much-needed solution to veterinarians in North America."
"We look forward to seeing Covetrus Pulse continue to help veterinarians optimize their operations, making it easier for them and their staff to keep up with the ever-growing demand for their services," he concluded.
