Fort Collins, Colo. - Colorado State University's (CSU) pet losssupport program, Changes: Support for People and Pets, has been renamedThe Family Support Service.
The service provides pet loss support and animal behavior managementconsultations to clients of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at CSU.
Part of the Argus Institute for Families and Veterinary Medicine at ColoradoState, the service reappoints one of the original founders, Tamina Toray,director of the program.
The Changes: Support for People and Pets program was established in 1984at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. It was reportedly one of the firstpet loss support programs created at a veterinary teaching hospital.
