Renee McDougall, DVM, MPH, DACVS: I also think the other female surgeons that I've been surrounded by have been a huge source of inspiration, just watching them create space for other women, and also basically just be an example [by] demonstrat[ing] how it can be done, to be powerful, and be a surgeon, which, of course we're in the great minority.
