This new approach to learning will engage attendees with a game show format
The Fetch dvm360® Conference in Kansas City, Missouri, will be held August 26 to August 28, 2022, and with it comes a new gamified continuing education (CE) program: dvm360® Unleashed! On Saturday, August 27, this learning opportunity, in a game show format, will replace the traditional keynote presentation. The new program will also be offered on Sunday, during lunch.
dvm360® Unleashed! is a gamified way to learn and potentially earn continuing education credit. Attendees can participate and compete for prizes by joining their table teammates for a high-energy session and rapid fire Q&A. Each table will compete to be the first to answer correctly.
During the program, players will pick a category and the hosts will ask a representative for each team to answer by standing up. A host will bring a microphone to the table for the answer.
Participants will immerse themselves in a microlearning approach to dermatology, behavior, nutrition, pain management, feline medicine, practice management, and other topics.
This program will be presented by dvm360® with veterinary professionals from VetScoop: Natalie L. Marks, DVM, CVJ; Lisa Radosta, DVM, DACVB; Evan Antin, DVM; and Kwane Stewart, DVM. dvm360® Unleashed! is hosted by our very own chief veterinary officer, Adam Christman, DVM, MBA; and Matt Bubala, host of The Matt Bubala Show on WGN Radio, and brought to you by conference sponsors Hill’s Pet Nutrition, Trupanion, and Zoetis.
“Gamified learning actively engages participants to interact, which is known to increase memory recall and comprehension,” said Christman. The 2-part dvm360® Unleashed! offers 2 hours of CE credit in jurisdictions that recognize Registry of Approved Continuing Education approval from the American Association of Veterinary State Boards.
