WASHINGTON — Dr. John Gorham took home the American Veterinary Medical Association's Lifetime Achievement Award, presented during group's July annual meeting in Washington. The honor recognizes Gorham's lifetime achievement in veterinary medical research, specifically in the area of fur-animal diseases and mink and canine viruses as well as the development of diagnostic tests.
