Michael Shirley: In January or February of 2020, my wife and I decided that we wanted our entire team to read a book called 'The Power of a Positive Team.' Practice culture is something that's really, really important to us and I heard good things about this book, and so I am part of another Facebook group called the Veterinary Practice Managers United (VPMU)...I just kind of flippantly posted in there, 'Hey would anybody like to read this book with me?' because honestly, I needed accountability myself to like actually read the book. I was hoping for maybe 4 or 5 people but instead like 45 people said that they wanted to read it.
