NAVC hosts the Nestle Purina College Challenge
ORLANDO, FLA. - 11/14/05 - The North American Veterinary Conference (NAVC) will host the Nestle Purina College Challenge, where student representatives will be challenged on their knowledge of anatomy and internal medicine.
ORLANDO, FLA. - 11/14/05 - The North American Veterinary Conference (NAVC) will host the Nestle Purina College Challenge, where student representatives will be challenged on their knowledge of anatomy and internal medicine.
Students gaining the highest number of points advance in each round until only two participants remain.
Each veterinary school's dean will decide which students will participate in the event.
The winner will be awarded a $3,000 prize from Nestle Purina and a matching donation to the student's school. The first and second runners up will receive cash prizes of $2,000 and $1,000 plus a matching donation to their respective colleges.
The fourth-place contestant will receive a $500 cash prize and a matching donation. Every contestant that passes the first round will receive a $100 American Express Gift Cheque, the company says.
