Nominate a veterinary professional for the 2022 dvm360® Innovator of the Year™ Award

dvm360® and Chewy have partnered to present the inaugural dvm360® Innovator of the Year Award™, a special recognition for veterinarians and veterinary technicians who are enhancing the care of animals through innovative measures. The dvm360® Innovator of the Year™ 2022 awardees will be announced in Fall 2022 and will be celebrated at Fetch dvm360® Conference in San Diego, California, which takes place December 2-4, 2022. Veterinary professionals can nominate a colleague for the dvm360® Innovator of the Year™ Award here.

The dvm360® senior leadership will vet all nominations and vote to determine the 2022 awardees. Finalists will be selected on the merits of their achievements, as submitted in the nomination form. Once the finalists are selected, they will be interviewed by dvm360® to determine the winners. One individual in each category who makes a measurable difference in the field of veterinary care, showing advancement through innovation, will be awarded.

Nominees will be evaluated on the following criteria:

• Exceptional innovation: the nominee’s exceptional performance in any area of the practice, academia, or industry where they went above and beyond the call of duty, exceeded expectations, or championed a new idea, process, or service that was implemented for the greater good of the team, clients, and/or community
• Advancement: how the nominee’s innovation helped advance the veterinary profession, their organization, peers and/or the community in which they serve.
• Community Outreach: the nominee’s involvement in/contribution to the community in the most recent 24 months.
• Why them? How this person represents the true epitome of a veterinary innovator and why this individual deserves this prestigious award.

Nominations for the dvm360® Innovator of the Year™ Award are open through October 31, 2022.
