A client sent us a thank-you card for our prompt, undivided attention and praised our team members for their kindness and courtesy. I'd like to post the note on the bulletin board in the reception area. Assuming the client gives permission, is there a downside?

"As long as there's no sensitive information in the note, I don't see why you can't post it," says Sharon DeNayer, practice manager at Windsor Veterinary Clinic in Windsor, Colo. Another option: "We share cards at our staff meetings and then post them on a large bulletin board in our staff room," DeNayer says.
"When I take cards down from the bulletin board, I place them in a large notebook that stays in the staff room. When a team member is having a discouraging day, he or she can look at the bulletin board or notebook and be reminded how much our clients appreciate the wonderful care we provide," she says.
