In an interview at Fetch Charlotte, Dr Sue Ettinger explains when a proactive approach can be appropriate

In an interview at the 2023 Fetch dvm360® Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina, faculty member Sue Ettinger DVM, DACVIM (Oncology)—also known as Dr Sue Cancer Vet—highlights circumstances where introducing an appetite stimulant can be ideal to help reduce the chance of appetite loss in dogs.

The following is a partial transcript of the video.

Sue Ettinger DVM, DACVIM (Oncology): Some of the things we talk about in the talk is if you have a patient that's going to board, whether it's at your hospital or at a boarding facility, we know they're less likely to eat there. So maybe we should be getting them on their appetite stimulant before they go to the boarding facility.
