This collaboration supports a larger mission to promote inclusion and diversity in the veterinary community.
Today, the Pride Veterinary Medical Community (PrideVMC) announced that pet insurer Nationwide is now a PrideVMC 2020 Silver Partner.
The collaboration will aid in promoting diversity and inclusion throughout the veterinary profession, according to an organizational release.
“Fostering diversity and inclusion is not only integral to Nationwide’s values, I believe it is key to the future health and ongoing success of the veterinary profession,” says Nationwide’s Chief Veterinary Officer, Jules Benson, BVSc MRCVS, in the release.
Nationwide joins PrideVMC partners Boehringer Ingelheim, Blue Pearl, Hill’s Pet Nutrition, VCA, Banfield Pet Hospital and Zoetis.
“We are very excited to work with Nationwide to further the PrideVMC mission of creating a better world for the LGBTQ+ veterinary community,” says PrideVMC Board President Dane Whitaker, DVM, MPVM.
