WEST LAFAYETTE, IND. — Purdue's small-animal teaching hospital earned accreditation through the American Animal Hospital Association.
The hospital opened the new Linda and William Fleischhauer Radiation Therapy unit, the first facility in Indiana to offer radiation therapy using a linear accelerator.
The hospital's veterinary services include general and specialty care in internal medicine, surgery, oncology, ophthalmology, dermatology, cardiology, dental and behavior medicine.
The hospital maintains a 24-hour intensive-care unit for critically ill small-animal patients, and a neonatal unit for large-animal newborns.
