Sometimes it’s easy to find something to do any night of the week, but other times it’s a daunting task. According to recent data from WalletHub, it all depends on where you live.
There’s no doubt about it — Americans like to have fun. Depending on where you live, you might be having a whole lot of fun…or not so much.
WalletHub, a website that offers free credit scores and reports, scored all 50 states across 22 indicators that correspond with having a good time.
The factors were included in two key categories: (1) entertainment and recreation and (2) nightlife.
Included in the two categories were a variety of metrics such as the number of attractions in the state; the weather; the number of restaurants, amusement parks, and music festivals per capita; the average cost for a movie; and access to bars.
