Stop sticker shock in veterinary practice
Provide estimates and payment options to block the shock.

"Sticker shock isn't just about price," says John Volk, a senior consultant with Brakke Consulting. "It's also about surprise at receiving a high bill, along with worry about how to pay." That's why Volk recommends providing estimates for all principal exams and treatments. "And provide more payment options, such as third-party payment plans," he says. "Promote pet insurance and offer wellness plans the clients can pay for monthly."
