Emily Shiver, CVPM, CCFP, CVBL: Let me also remind everyone that inventory is your second largest expense in your practice. So when you're doing payroll, I guarantee you pull yourself away and you do payroll so you don't overpay somebody or underpay somebody. Inventory needs to be treated similarly because it's your second largest expense in your practice. I feel like a lot of times, it's just kind of like, 'Oh, it's inventory, you know, just order stuff and get it here.' But then when you put pen to paper, and it gets toward the end of the year, and you start looking at everything, you're like, 'Whoa, okay, hold on.' So I just really can't stress enough that it, it really needs to be a priority. And I totally agree with you [Christman]. You have to protect the people that are doing it and give them the time to do it.
