Vedco introduces a unique handheld mobile tonometry unit for measuring intraocular pressure in animals that can be a tip-off for the onset of glaucoma. TonoVet features a new, patented induction/impact rebound technology and is calibrated specifically for veterinarians to accurately establish an intraocular pressure baseline for more than 40 breeds of dogs predisposed to glaucoma, the company says.
