The American Association of Equine Practitioners celebrates its 60th convention.

When the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) holds its conference this December, it will have something special to celebrate: its 60th anniversary. The convention and trade show will be Dec. 6-10 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City according to an association release.

The event will give equine practitioners opportunities to complete continuing education courses, as well as participate in networking and social events. Seminar topics include colic, lameness, immunology, imaging and more, according to the release. The convention will also feature more than 300 exhibitors.

Students will have the opportunity to attend as well, with sessions tailored to student interest such as dry labs and professional development sessions. Student programs will be Dec. 6-7.

The AAEP expects more than 5,000 veterinarians, students, technicians and exhibitors to attend. For more information and to register, visit aaep.org.
