Liz Hughston MEd, RVT, CVT, LVT, LMVT, VTS (SAIM) (ECC): I'm not opposed to moving to a nursing model. I would love to move to something that's mtore similar to a nursing model where they have their own state boards; they do their own licensing; they take care of all their complaints; and nurses, if they don't work for a large organization, they have their own liability insurance. We should have that same thing for veterinary technicians.
