Elizabeth, a Texas native, has been working in the veterinary field for over 20 years. She graduated from Cedar Valley College’s Veterinary Technology Program in 2004 and the Canine Rehabilitation Institute in 2007. Elizabeth finished her Bachelors of Science in Veterinary Technology in 2012 through St. Petersburg College. Her experience ranges from small animal to large animal, emergency and critical care, canine rehabilitation, adjunct instructor at three different veterinary technology programs, end of life care, research, and canine reproduction. She worked as an account manager for Royal Canin for 9 years and is now a Senior Sales Director for Cubex. Elizabeth has been published in several magazines, journals, and books, including the NAVTA magazine, Veterinary Medicine Magazine, and the most recent edition of Career Choices for Veterinary Technicians. She has served on many boards, including NAVTA and other state technician associations. Elizabeth won the RVT of the Year award in Oklahoma in 2009 and the CVT of the Year award in Colorado in 2014. She lives in Dallas, TX with her husband Josh, daughters Nova and Emberly, and fur-baby, Tron.
