It states in part, "Being admitted to the profession of veterinary medicine, I solemnly swear(to) accept as a lifelong obligation the continual improvement of my professional knowledge and competence."
New license defense option now available
July 1st 2003The AVMA Professional Liability Insurance Trust-sponsored Professional Liability Program recently unveiled a veterinary license defense endorsement for regulatory actions. The new endorsement provides up to $25,000 per year in legal fees to defend actions against licenses required for the practice of veterinary medicine for an annual premium of $49.
