Wisconsin veterinarian Paul Danhaus, 60, rode his bike 3,021 miles in 11 days netting him first place in the 28th Ride Across America race. Averaging 10.99 miles per hour, Danhaus started the race in Oceanside, California and finished it in 11 days, 10 hours and 48 minutes later in Anapolis, Maryland.
