The conference will feature lectures on nutrition and gastroenterology
The American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) is hosting its 7th World Feline Veterinary Conference in Memphis, Tennessee, this week. The conference, also available virtually, announced this year’s theme is The Ins and Outs of Feline Nutrition and Gastroenterology and will cover all different areas of feline nutrition and gastroenterology that are acceptable for professionals of all levels.
"We are thrilled to unveil the upcoming AAFP 2023 Annual Conference which is also the 7th World Feline Veterinary Conference. This highly anticipated event promises to be a transformative gathering of veterinary professionals, delving into the intricate world of feline nutrition and gastroenterology,” expressed Heather O’Steen, CAE, AAFP CEO, in an organizational release.1
According to the release, the conference will feature distinguished feline speakers and over 80 exhibitors as well as a hands-on orthopedic evaluation, cat-friendly interactions, and handling workshops.1 Attendees will be able to earn 33 continuing education hours and can then earn an additional 67 CE hours through the live stream and on-demand sessions. For virtual attendees, they will be able to earn up to 27.4 CE hours and access to the recorded sessions will be available until May 31, 2023.
“With a focus on practical applications, cutting-edge research, innovative approaches, and best practices, we aim to equip attendees with the knowledge and tools to elevate feline health and wellbeing to new heights," O’Steen concluded.1
