Tampa, fla. - An American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) fund that aims to provide quality health care for companion animals received a $50,000 donation from CareCredit at the association's annual convention in late March.

TAMPA, FLA. — An American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) fund that aims to provide quality health care for companion animals received a $50,000 donation from CareCredit at the association's annual convention in late March.

The benevolent arm of the AAHA Foundation, the Helping Pets Fund provides care for abandoned animals and financial assistance to owners whose pets need medical attention.

"CareCredit is honored to support the AAHA Helping Pets Fund with the first-ever donation from an industry partner," says Doug Hammond, senior vice president of CareCredit, a leading client-financing company.
