Auburn University welcomes new teaching hospital director
Auburn, Ala. -- Dr. Douglas Allen is the new director of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine.

-- Dr. Douglas Allen is the new director of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine.
He took over the position April 1 and is responsible for managing the hospital's clinical and administrative functions
An Auburn graduate, Allen has served as president of the American Association of Veterinary Clinicians and is a board-certified veterinary surgeon.
Allen succeeds Dr. John Saidla, who was hospital director since 2000.
