-- The American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF) is seeking students to apply for its annual veterinary student scholarship program.
The foundation will award 23 scholarships worth a total of $29,000 this year to Student American Veterinary Medical Association (SAVMA) members enrolled in their first, second or third years at an American Veterinary Medical Association-accredited veterinary school in the United States.
Preference will be given to students who pursue careers in particular areas like animal health studies, shelter medicine, disaster preparedness and food-animal medicine, among others, says AVMF.
