Melissa Shapiro, DVM: Social media is a very effective and important media platform for networking and bringing the whole "pets with disabilities" movement to the public. [Platforms such as] The Dodo, which is a viral video media company that features dogs and other animals' rescue stories, promote and launch many of the big influencer pages that revolve around disabled pets.
