Try again. This time frame is a bit long, especially if we have markedly impacted her renal values or have overcorrected her thyroid level. In addition, we want to measure more than just a T4 concentration. A serum chemistry panel, CBC, and urinalysis are also important so we can get a better picture of overall health and be sure to monitor for side effects of the methimazole itself.
