Correct! Underlying diseases like hypothyroidism and hypoadrenocorticism can result in a nonregenerative anemia. Roscoe's thyroid status is unknown at this point, but the vomiting doesn't fit with hypothyroidsim. Hypoadrenocorticism is still a possibility, however, as vomiting is often part of the clinical picture in these cases.
