A cleaner way to make a mess
When emptying anal glands in pets, use this simple trick to minimize the mess.

To ease the strain on team members' backs, we stopped lifting large dogs onto the wet sink to empty anal glands. Placing towels under the dogs to catch the mess left us with a stinky load of laundry. Recently, I came up with the idea to use a puppy pad instead. It works wonderfully and the smell goes right out with the trash.
