A survey conducted by the American Kennel Club shows that pet owners are willing to sacrifice a few daily luxuries in order to provide for the needs of their dogs. According to the survey, 96 percent of respondents would give up their daily latte to save money for their dog's expenses. In addition, 97 percent say they'd forgo spa or massage treatments, and almost 79 percent say they'd cancel a teeth whitening appointment so that their dog could have its annual teeth cleaning instead.
The only item that survey respondents were unwilling to give up was Internet access-70 percent said they would not be able to give up their Web addiction in order to pay for care for their dog.
