Fort Collins, Colo. - Colorado State University's (CSU) College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences has recruited a North Carolina State University (NCSU) professor as its new dean.
Fort Collins, Colo. - Colorado State University's (CSU) Collegeof Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences has recruited a North CarolinaState University (NCSU) professor as its new dean.
Dr. Lance E. Perryman will succeed retiring Dean James L. Voss, DVM,in October. Voss, head of the college since 1986, plans to remain throughSeptember.
Employed at NCSU since 1994, Perryman heads the veterinary college'sdepartment of microbiology, pathology and parasitology.
Perryman received his DVM and Ph.D. degrees from Washington State Universityin 1970 and 1975, respectively, and his master's degree from The Ohio StateUniversity in 1973.
"As the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences atColorado State pursues its vision and fulfills its mission, I expect wewill resolve national challenge" hesays "I look forward to being part of this leadership effort."
