DeVry Inc. says it completed the acquisition of Ross University, including its School of Veterinary Medicine.
Senior financing was provided by Bank of America, N.A. for $310 million,officials say. Ross University becomes the third division of DeVry Universityand Becker Conviser Professional Review. Dennis J. Keller, DeVry Inc. chairmanand co-chief executive officer, says, "The Ross University acquisitionwill bring immediate positive financial benefits to DeVry and provide excellentopportunities to leverage Ross' medicine and health sciences expertise withthe technology and business offerings of DeVry University and Becker ConviserProfessional Review."
Ross' veterinary school is in St. Kitts, West Indies.
