The AVMAPAC is holding a contest to generate support for the PAC, which helps AVMA members and lobbyists work for Congressional passage of legislation the organization supports.
Donations, in the amount of $1,000 each, will be made to the two state VMAs and the two veterinary schools and colleges that contribute the most and have the most per-capita donors.
The contest ends June 30, 2009.
Updates on the state VMAs and schools leading in their categories will appear periodically in the GRD's Advocate News Bulletin.
Winners will be announced in 2009 at the annual AVMA Convention in Seattle.
For more information about the contest, contact Christine Baker at cbaker@avma.org or call (800) 321-1473, ext. 3206.
